In the last year 3.4% of people aged between 16 – 59 had taken Class A Drugs, about 1.1 million people and the trend continues upwards.

For the year ending March 2020 4.6% of adults aged between 16 – 59 (1.6 million) had used drugs in the last month. These figures are largely unaffected by the pandemic.

The use of Drugs and Alcohol in the workplace can have a detrimental effect on your business and it is not just the illegal drugs that can be a problem. Prescription drug abuse when medication is taken without medical grounds or in unnecessary quantities can also be a problem.
